These are raw Kyanite crystaline gemstones most often found in Brazil, Kenya, Myanmar, North Carolina, Austria, and the European alps – the most striking blues coming from Switzerland. Pearly, darker blue hues appear more towards the interior of mines. Its variable hardness makes it difficult to cut and shape.
